Born in 2012, INTO THE CROWD Magazine is an online music magazine and website based in Toronto, Canada. Through our two-part production, we dedicate ourselves to bringing you recent and compelling artist coverage through interviews, live photos, festival guides, album reviews, show reviews and behind-the-scenes action. We focus on all (but are not limited to) indie rock and electronic music, well-known, underground and/or local across Toronto, Kingston, Montreal, US and beyond.
Our website is updated weekly, but every few seasons (SS + FW) and with much anticipation, we release a seasonal recap issue on our issuu.com page containing exclusive interviews and photo galleries. As young and passionate writers and photographers, but also huge music and concert enthusiasts, our team aims to highlight unique moments and deliver exciting content to visitors and readers worldwide.
In 2015, Into The Crowd Magazine demonstrated an average web readership of 40,000 monthly, to mixed male/female demographic between the ages of 16-35 all across Canada, the US, as well as areas in Europe and Asia. We are very pleased to share that our summer issue (#22 ft The Vaccines) reached over 757,000 views on issuu within the first three weeks of release, along with a front page feature on the platform, which has been noticeably increasing our pool of website readers all across North America since. We normally cater more to indie/rock and electronic fans, but are also branching out to more hip hop events as of 2016. We have previously collaborated with a wide range of artists that include Ellie Goulding, The Chainsmokers, Disclosure, Dannic, Duke Dumont, Sam Feldt, Gorgon City, Kygo, Lido, Matoma, The Neighbourhood, Band of Horses, The Wombats, The Vaccines, among some others over the last couple years.
