Kaivan Adjedani. On December 13th, the Century Room Series returns after a long hiatus at Everleigh to welcome M.A.N.D.Y. on the decks. While clubs and events in the city are host to many up and coming newcomers and trendy artists, the Century Room Series has been adamant on hosting industry icons, label owners, and old school legends; aka the house music establishment. No different this week, Get Physical bosses and international sensations M.A.N.D.Y make their long awaited return to Toronto to take the helm of this growing showcase.
There’s a reason why label owners are always high in demand and warrant more expensive booking fees everywhere they go. Running a record label, even a smaller one, means having access to an exclusive catalogue of music and playing some of the hottest tracks before they make their way out to public mixes and set-lists. Even better is when you have the bosses of a renowned label like Get Physical, which has some of the highest charted releases in the world including works from artists like BLOND:ISH, Catz ‘N Dogz, and Damian Lazarus, to name a few. To conclude, M.A.N.D.Y will have an arsenal of unreleased heaters ready to go, which means you can forget about trying to Shazaam and just get lost in the music.
Opening duties are entrusted to Sam Haze, Night Vision, and Peter Damian. Doors open at 10:00 PM and this one is running late, 3:00 AM for a Wednesday night. This is definitely one you won’t want to miss, so grab advanced tickets here to avoid the risk. See you on the dance floor.
