By Erin Holdbeck, Senior Editor. Berlin-based duo Tale of Us will make their return to Toronto this Saturday at CODA Nightclub. Since its announcement the event has become one of the most talked about shows of 2016. Their closing set at the Labour Day Electric Island in 2014 remains one of the most memorable performances in Toronto to date, as well as the Electric Island after party held at CODA that same night.

Tale of Us are known for their game changing house and techno tracks and have become the poster child for their label, Life & Death records. The duo initially gained wide recognition for their remix of Mano Le Tough’s “Primitive People”, which became one of the most essential tunes released in 2013. They have since received praise for their own productions including “Astral” with label mates Mind Against, as well as other massive remixes such as Caribou’s “Can’t Do Without You” alongside Mano Le Tough. Most recently, they were voted #3 on Resident Advisors list of the Top 100 DJs of 2015.

Based on the buzz surrounding the event it should come as no surprised that it is expected to sell out. There are no pre-sale tickets for the show but they are available on a first-come-first-serve basis at the door. Make sure you arrive at CODA early to snag your spot on the dance floor at one of the most anticipated shows of the year.
