Festival Review: Ever After Music Fest – Highlights

DAY2-24

  1. THE LINEUP

For its first year, Ever After had quite a line-up including acts like Diplo, Benny Benassi, Flosstradamus, Keys n Krates and even a surprise act, Waka Flocka Flame. They set the bar high for coming years but we’ve got faith in them.

  1. THE PEOPLE

True fans stuck around throughout the crazy weather that weekend, which really made this festival one to remember. Everyone one was there for one reason: to party.

DAY2-21

  1. FLOSSTRADAMUS

First-time witnesses to a raging performance by the duo in full white and bulletproof vests left us pretty speechless, and makes us believe this is pretty self-explanatory. Bringing the #HDYNATION movement to Kitchener, Flosstradamus really had the crowd going insane!

  1. THE FERRIS WHEEL

Who doesn’t love a ferris wheel? Especially when it’s at a music festival and 100% free.  Festival attendees had complimentary access to the ferris wheel from doors open to doors closed (minus during torrential downpour times). Why not take in the view of the entire festival grounds while enjoying the music?

DAY2-14

  1. THE PONCHOS

Normally this wouldn’t be considered a highlight, but since it rained nearly the entire weekend, ponchos (or heavy duty rain gear if you came extra prepared) were a must-have and a HUGE lifesaver for just about everyone.

  1. THE VENDORS

With all the crazy festivities, we all need food, and we all decently enjoyed what the festival had to offer. Despite being chains, Pizza Pizza, Pita Pit and even Tiny Toms Donuts to name a few satisfied.

DAY2-16

  1. DAY 2 SUNSET

After hiding for pretty much all of day 1, and throughout the afternoon on day 2… the sun decided to make an appearance during Keys N Krates’ set and from then on, it just got better and better. The sunset was a beautiful way to end off the weekend.

  1. THE LOCATION

Due to the rain, the location became quite muddy and filled with puddles, but other than that, the large grass field with rocky paths was great. The layout was easy to navigate throughout the grounds from stage to stage or to food/drinks/vendors and such.

  1. THE HUMAN HAMSTER BALLS

A special mention goes out to these, because watching people running around in giant hamster balls and bashing into each other never gets boring… ever.
