FESTIVAL GUIDE: Boston Calling Music Festival, Sept 5-7

boston-calling-social By Dan Bosco. On two stages for three days this September 5-7, some of the hottest acts in live music are taking over the Boston City Hall Plaza to make on of the most exciting cities on the East Coast even more fun.

Friday night kicks off big with headliners, indie rockers The National, with performances by Future Islands and Neutral Milk Hotel as well. Saturday’s stages will be graced with the likes of Girl Talk, Sky Ferreira, The Hold Steady, Volcano Choir, Lorde, and that evening’s headliner, actor/writer/comedian/rapper Donald Glover performing as Childish Gambino, to name a few. Sunday attendees see an action packed day of jams with acts like The War on Drugs, Lake Street Dive, The Replacements, and closing out the final night, rap and hip hop legends Nas X The Roots.

The show goes on rain or shine, so don’t worry about missing an act for rain! All VIP passes are now sold out for this fall’s Boston Calling Music Festival, but regular entry festival passes are still up for grabs, but disappearing fast!
