THE 1975 9 RS

By Savana Ogburn. On May 22nd, English indie rock band, The 1975, played a sold out show at the Buckhead Theater in Atlanta, Georgia with support from indie newcomers, Sir Sly and Bad Suns. The band’s energetic live performance coupled with their rapidly growing and ever excited fanbase promised an unforgettable night for dedicated fans and newcomers alike.

As the lights dimmed, the instrumental opening track played, and the band emerged from behind the curtain, they were met with the wild cheers of fans across the venue. As the set progressed, fans showed their affection by shouting lyrics, dancing, and even throwing flowers onstage to frontman, Matt Healy.
